Meet the Author Of
HunterVerse Book

David Scott Hunter possesses a youthful spirit and has consistently relished reading and composing, alongside exploring new destinations whenever possible. He embarked on his poetry journey during his secondary education at J.A. Turner Secondary School in Brampton, Ontario, and was initially published in the American Poetry Anthology under the alias Scotia Davidos while attending James Cook University in East Australia after securing victory in a poetry competition.

Following an unforeseen retirement, he became a member of a creative writing collective in Stittsville, Ontario, known as SCWG. The collective was deeply committed to supporting aspiring writers and authors and connecting with other accomplished authors across the globe.

In 2018, he suffered a stroke, which led to the emergence of in-depth dreams that inspired his first book, “Treasure Hunter.” This marked the beginning of his “Dream Sky High” writings.

Following that, he authored another book within the same writing universe, focusing more on the historical lineage of a magical family, titled “Hunters of Perath.” This new book continues the story from the first one, shifting attention to Paige Hunter’s cousin, Tommy Assaff.

He lives a single life with his devoted caregiver, Glenn, in the South Ottawa area of Ontario, Canada. When possible, he enjoys traveling, particularly escaping the cold Ottawa winters for the southern states or P-Town.

His dreams are a daily occurrence, as he aspires for fame akin to that of his favorite author, Anne Rice. He also envisions a world free from online scammers, including PCH, and especially hopes for a society without bigotry, where all 2SLGBTQI+ individuals can express themselves freely.
